Fencing.

The watertanks are now in place, complete with their own 'checking stools'. 75 native plants have been planted in and around the tanks to conceal their ginormous ugliness.

Row's very own 'spinning Jenny'

This weekend Row had been out with his post hole maker and has built a fence. A FENCE! This fence is to keep the sheep and cows out of our native tree plantings.
He's done a great job of his first fence, complete with a small gate.

The long awaited water tanks.

Well, long awaited is an incorrect title really. It does make it sound as though we really wanted them and just couldn't wait to put them in. However, we need to have 50,000L of water on site for fire fighting. So needs must and now we have two, gigantic plastic tanks in pride of place hmmm.

The tanks are just huge. Two times my height - and much rounder than me too.
Getting them in place became Rowan's next project. He didn't think a digger would have enough reach so to Google it was.
" I think I've got it Maegs. I'll use some rope and some warratahs to drop them in place"
Hmmm

And now... We wait for the rain!
