It was the last big job to do. 

No more pink cupboards and bench top! 

We've repainted the doors and given the unit a fresh coat of paint. Moved the drawers, added an internal shelf, popped on some new handles, a shiny new tap and our bargain sink. 

Best buy: the sink, closely followed by the kitchen unit- a trademe score

At $20, 

Cheapest item:  the one test pot of paint used to paint the doors

Best find: the door handles 

Worst part: sanding the unit,the cupboards,draws, benchtop. Oh how I hate sanding!! 

Best part: the amazing job Row did making the bench top! I'm too scared to put anything on it,

Oh and selling the old benchtop for $25!!

It's hard to believe that only months ago we were so excited about having running water through the kitchen taps. Huge progress this year. 

Only one thing left to do.

Build a deck. Watch this space.
